A large Springtime-inspired oil painting responding to my visual memories of walking amongst the fields and wild meadows near where I live. On my daily walks, I am constantly mesmerised by fresh new life emerging, growing tall along the hedgerows, and bending in breeze. Responding to these natural influences, there’s a feeling of the wide open space, the Spring breeze, wild beauty and vitality of Springtime! Capturing the essence of Springtime is a theme that truly enriches my creative process.

Executed with Winsor & Newton professional oil paints on high quality stretched canvas, with softwood stretchers. Canvas size is 70 x 100 x 4.5 cm depth. The image is extended on the sides of the canvas creating a 3-D effect. The canvas is signed on both the front and the back, and there are 2 D-rings attached to each side of the softwood stretchers strung with strong cord so that this work is READY TO HANG to sit flush against the wall, with no need for any further framing, offering a contemporary finish to the artwork.
