Capturing the essence of Springtime is a theme I love to explore and express in my creative practice. For me, seeing the first of the new season’s cow parsley as it emerges and grows tall along the hedgerow, the delicate ‘lacey’ white flowers unfurling…this is the moment I feel Spring has truly arrived and I can immerse myself body and spirit in nature’s wonder! This is what energises my soul and inspires my painting process. Responding to these natural influences with expressive strokes of my palette knife, here is Dance on the Breeze.

Created with Winsor & Newton professional oil paints on high quality stretched canvas, with softwood stretchers. Canvas size is 80 x 80 x 4.5 cm depth. The image is extended on the sides of the canvas creating a 3-D effect. The canvas is signed on both the front and the back, and there are 2 D-rings attached to each side of the softwood stretchers strung with strong cord so that this work is READY TO HANG to sit flush against the wall, with no need for any further framing, offering a contemporary finish to the artwork.
