Together we will explore the pure joy of painting SEASCAPES with a COASTAL COLOUR palette! Gift yourself some ‘me-time’ – come and be inspired to experiment\, to play with paint. \nIdeal for complete beginners\, as well as those with some painting experience seeking a fresh approach. I will be your ‘hands-on’ guide sharing all the tips\, encouragement and creative prompts. This immersive painting workshop offers you the opportunity to explore using water-mixable oil paints to create your own seascapes and coastal-inspired artworks\, and to learn the techniques required to continue your art journey at home. \nWhat will you learn with me? \n\nUnderstand the colour wheel\, the foundation elements of colours\, and the joy of mixing colours.\nAppreciate the beauty of using water-mixable oil paints and their buttery texture.\nLearn about the environmental benefits of using water-mixable oil paints. No solvents needed.\nApply techniques and mark making; explore movement to create the base layers of a painting.\nLearn how to use a palette knife and/or brush to apply the paint in layers to create depth and texture.\nLearn to develop the composition of a painting\, to create balance and harmony as you paint.\nTake away new skills and materials to create your own artworks in your own time\, that I hope you will feel proud enough to frame.\n\nThis painting workshop is the ideal opportunity to try something NEW\, but without the need to create perfectly. Allow yourself to be open\, and let your curiosity guide you. This nurturing session will give you the space to learn and build confidence to continue your own art journey at home. We paint in small groups in the safe and supportive environment of the studio. \nWhat is included in the workshop? \n\nAll painting supplies\, paper and materials are included in the workshop.\nCoffee/Tea breaks will be provided\, as well as soft drinks and snacks too!
