On the cover…Soulhub Journal
I am thrilled to have my artwork (“Coastal Light”) on the front cover of the latest edition of Soulhub Journal. Founded by Carmen Rendell, we connected through an online course we were both attending last year. I was delighted when she invited me to collaborate with the new publication of their Soulhub Journal. We met when Carmen came to visit me at the studio, personally delivering copies of the journal hot off the press!
Carmen’s vision for Soulhub has nurtured a ‘hub’ of support – a team of coaches, therapists, yoga & fitness instructors, and nutritionalists. Please visit the website to learn more about this inspiring guide to soulful living, and as you can see it’s making waves with a few people (including England Rugby)!
And, now Carmen & Soulhub is the proud owner of the original painting “Coastal Light”!
Artworks at Midsummer House
Absolutely delighted that Sue Rapley Art paintings adorn the walls of the newly refurbished Double Michelin-starred Midsummer House restaurant in Cambridge. Following meetings with the owner, Daniel Clifford and his colleagues, which included a visit to my studio to view artworks, the large oil painting “Untamed Beauty” and four selected ink & watercolour paintings beautifully compliment the new decor and styling.
Midsummer House has undergone a major kitchen and dining space makeover with a brand new A La Carte menu launched on 10th April. It was wonderful to be featured in the Cambridge News paper.
Paintings acquired for Addenbrooke’s Hospital
Addenbrooke’s Arts approached me to acquire these two paintings from my Spring 2017 collection (pictured below) for a new Treatment Unit at the hospital. Part of a major re-development funded by Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT) charity, I am delighted that my artwork is enhancing private patient spaces. It is such an honour to know that these paintings will be appreciated by those who visit the unit. Huge thanks to ACT charity and Addenbrooke’s Arts.
